Pages App Reviews

-On my IPad Pro (as of June 08/ 16) I get crashes daily, particularly when I do some sort of function, like copy-and-pasting into a document. I use Pages for research projects, and while the mechanics of the app are great, sometimes when the crashes occur I lose a lot of work. -Hopefully an update will solve this unexpected quitting soon (bring my rating up to 5 stars), since using Pages now can be very frustrating at times.

This app stopped working on my iPad Air2. Now it wont open, I cant delete it and therefore cant reinstall it. Help!

I use this as a diary. Its so awesome! I also use it to write songs and ideas. I love everything about it! I just wish here was word count but other than that its awesome. I absolutely love it. Its awesome for people who like to organize their ideas. I love the search feature. I totally recommend this.

iPad (3rd Gen) recently prompted me to download new IOS 9.3.2...did so and experienced no end of trouble, with Boot loops and so on. Pages will no longer open no matter what I do, wont backup to iCloud nor will files backup onto laptop. Ive lost some good work, even having restored from backup and can no longer use Pages. They made the hardware, the OS and the software, and they cant get them to play nice together?!!!! Had visited folks at Genius Bar 2 days in a row, nice folks but couldnt help me. So, product is unreliable and will trip you up sooner or later, look for another option. Profoundly unimpressed.

This is so hard!! Im trying to write a song list & the number one is tiny along with these big words. Its just too hard. Im stuck with the tiny numbers. I dont know what else to select on this device.

Great Apps

Ive been using pages for about 10 years, and I have to say it has improved greatly over the years. The best part about it is that it has iCloud integration, and it is a universal app. Its really easy to use once you give it a chance. I think people switching over from Microsoft office need to take some time to actually get accustomed to the app and its features. Pages is more functional on Mac OS X, meaning you could do more with it on a MacBook than an iPad, but nonetheless Ive written some long research essays on page with my iPad.

I have been using the app for a couple of years now. I had noticed a few months ago that i could not open my pages documents. I thought that there was a bug and they were working on fixing the problem..... Now all my pages documents are gone!!! I google the app again but now we have to pay $14 to get it!!! i have to pay that amount of money to get back my documents

Pages hasnt worked on the iPad since iOS 9.3 updated a couple of months ago; various updates since then havent changed matters. Luckily it will works fine on the iPhone, so at least I havent lost my work, but Ive had to get a new Word Processor in order to continue writing. Judging from the other recent reviews Im far from alone in having a non-functioning Pages app on my iPad...

I have spent several years being pretty happy with this little app, but that has all changed. I opened the app to discover that every single document that I have ever written (songs, essays, MY ENTIRE MASTERS THESIS) are all gone. Disappeared. It doesnt matter how effective a word processor is if it RANDOMLY DELETES ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS. Of course, I cant get Apple to help without giving them my credit card number. I didnt lose these documents, APPLE LOST THESE DOCUMENTS. I am unbelievably unimpressed.

The app appears to be waiting for several days and I can not delete the icon or re load it. So it just sits there all browned out. Pretty useless app.

There needs to be bullets or something for note taking. So difficult to do this

I installed iOS 10 on my iPad today and as recommended upgraded my Pages app. Now none of my documents open and the page is frozen. Please help!

I love using it but why does it have to be so goddamn large in file size????? Doesnt it link to the cloud??

The latest version stopped syncing with my mail. It showed no signs that it wasnt sending. Lost a contract. Thanks! Please fix this!!! I used to like using this app. No more

Often the app doesnt open, theres no way to get the work back!! Very upset about it

App is broken, at least for iPhone 6 on iOS 10. Files gone and app wont open. Thanks developers...

Selecting more than a page of s doc in Pages and selecting speak will a) cause the lag in deselecting the selected text to be horrible (I want to deselect so that I will not accidentally delete my text, and b) after several paragraphs, crash tge app. Last worked correctly, no lags, no crashes, in the last version 9 release. Please fix - I need to hear my text to check that it is correct (proof-hearing works better than proof-reading) Thank you Hardware: iPhone6+ IOS: 10.0.1, 10.0.2

My new PAGES App diary (iCloud based), where I use my iPad Air 2, MY iPhone 6S, to alternately write up from each, has a big problem on my 2011 MacBook Pro, where saving, or quitting, stalls the program indefinitely. The LAPTOP cursor also types five letters then goes missing. The other units work fine. All are updated to the latest Apple program OSs, Sierra, PAGES version 6. Error reports have been sent to Apple.
