IOS10.0.2 Voice breaks Pages

Selecting more than a page of s doc in Pages and selecting speak will a) cause the lag in deselecting the selected text to be horrible (I want to deselect so that I will not accidentally delete my text, and b) after several paragraphs, crash tge app. Last worked correctly, no lags, no crashes, in the last version 9 release.
Please fix - I need to hear my text to check that it is correct (proof-hearing works better than proof-reading)
