Review update: Now it works with split view and because of that it is much more awesome than before. It is a must have for all iPad users. Old review: I really like this app. Its free for iPad users, it works just fine and it can create files in one of the most popular formats which is great when you want to share your work with people that do not use Apple devices... but it REALLY needs the iOS features like the split view. Why cant I work on both Pages and Keynotes on the same screen on my iPad Air 2? I mean come on, it looks like a huge oversight. I will give it 4/5 when its split view compatible. Personally I dont think its a 5/5 because if you really want to polish your work, you will sooner or later do it on a Mac or PC, but still its a great app, one of the best and most easy to use on the planet.

App is pretty useless. While working with a bigger amount of text, its impossible to write. Keyboard lags so much, that after typing a word, it appears only after few seconds... Really bad and poor. What going on with Apple?

This software does what its supposed to... it allows us to write and save. Functionality of cloud cooperation is nice, but naming of the files should be edited more easily... it was pretty ambiguous to find out how to change file names on iCloud, maybe some popup asking user to specify file name?

Dont open files from iCloud Drive

Using pages (latest version) the keyboard frequently doesnt allow me to get the number keyboard. I have to re-open the app to temporary fix this obrobrious bug. Furthermore the app often crashes and when I open it again I find Ive lost the last three periods I had just written.

Save to another app feature is only available from documents screen. Lots of extra clicks required. The long standing missing features are still missing too.

October 2016 Terrible terrible. Keeps crashing and losing my edits. Holy crap this is a terrible application Update: Well, the app has gotten progressively better. Much better in fact but WTH! Still clunky and terrible at downloading. Terrible! And if you have any large amount of documents in the application it stutters terribly. I assume this is the reason that Apple now only downloads the documents when you need them, BUT AT LEAST MAKE THE DOWNLOADING FLAWLESS THEN. Its a pity, I like the app, I use it a lot. Just frustrated as it could be sooooo much better. This stuttery nonesense is not becoming of Apple. My frustration has hit an all time high. This is the worst piece of software ever released on the App Store let alone by Apple. What makes me so mad is that so many of my documents are stuck in this application that has now become unusable. This is the worst piece of trash! I have updated and it is still buggy and crashing Since the 8.1 update it is completely unusable. COMPLETELY UNUSABLE!!! Cant type. Documents take forever to load. Then everything crashes. If you have to leave the document and then come back to it, the whole process of waiting and trying to get a document to load stars again. WORST SHOW EVER APPLE. Wow! Its a disaster after the update. I am using an iPad Air and Pages is sooooo slow now. Unusable

What happened to Apple? With the iPad Pro being hyped as a viable replacement for a laptop, why cant Apple produce a decent word-processing app? I like Pages on my MacBook, but on the iPad: (1) The interface is completely different. (In fact the interface for everything on the iPad is different: users must learn two different interfaces for everything.) (2) No thesaurus? Are you kidding me? Does Apple really expect people to write on this like a laptop without a built-in thesaurus feature? (3) Lots of little glitches and inconveniences: endless load times, help button simply doesnt display tips for all the buttons, and, weirdly, if you have ever added another language in keyboard controls, you will never be able to remove pop-up bilingual dictionaries under define—even if you have removed the language in controls. Just all-around clunky and poorly thought-out! Update 10/16: Still disappointed: Latest "update" includes a number of glitches. Heres one right off the bat: I cannot now add headers and footers to documents converted from Word. WTH? I could fully edit these docs before. Why does every Apple overhaul seem like a Beta? And it still feels like a completely different app from the OS version. Do Apples OS and iOS people ever compare notes?

Persistent crashing.. where is Steve Jobs when we need him?

This app has gone from bad to worse. I have experienced some lagging and crashing in prior versions but since the iOS 10 update it crashes and lags more than it works correctly. That isnt an exaggeration, i havent been able to completely finish a document on my iPhone since the update, it crashes after a few words are typed. Ill be moving to Google docs until Apple can resolve the issue with syncing to iCloud in this app. Dont bother with it.

Pages is great for creating documents. The integration with iCloud is fantastic. I love being able to create documents anywhere on any device using icloud.com. However there is one thing that I wish was available and that would be the ability to create folders for documents on the documents page. I would love to have things organized by groups, church, work, ect. Thats really the only thing I think its missing.

The keyboard sticks repeatedly, the cursor is very slow to respond, and somehow the keyboard keeps clicking over to the numbers section while Im typing words - even though I havent hit the button. Trust me, Ive tested it a thousand times already. How can the company who makes the software AND hardware not be able to create seamless cohesion between their own platform of products? Oh, right - because they dont care about quality, just the green. Jobs may have been a soul suker but at least he got the job done. Under Cook the recipe just gets worse and worse and worse and worse and worse and worse. I just dont understand why everyone on this planet is so content to screw each other over at the drop of a dime and then sit back and wonder why the human race is so jaded and angry and selfish. I wish I could say Im gonna leave the rotten apples in the dumpster but where else is there to go? Eventually itll bite them in the caboose. But who wants to wait for that when they could just test their products instead of sending millions of people pre-broken products on a weekly basis? I dont. :(

Allow annotations with the pencil. Hardware without the software? Really? Make the pencil work with my iPad! I hate using other applications that are outsourced. Take the interface from GoodNotes and integrate into pages!

This app is not at all what I thought it would be theres so much room for so many more options and features this is not what I expected at all.

Now I can edit my work on the go and make it more easy for me when I want to change something as son as I get an idea without going to my MacBook. ❤️️pages

I cant go into the app anymore because it keeps crashing. Ive written all of these stories on there and everything so I really hope I didnt lose my material.

Great update thanks. My favorite text app. But this app has several bugs that need to be fixed.

It continually crashes. I cant even get it to stay open for 1 second.

I bought Pager few years ago, paid $9,99 and after restore my ipad I cant download it back, because ipad mini run 9.3.5 and required is 10.
