For some reason I cannot create footnotes, also there are issues with highlighting words that are misspelled. It also says words are misspelled after they have been corrected.

I want to use this program for work and school. To make it more functional for organizational school and business purposes, it needs to allow to sub folders. In addition, it needs to have more features. Instead of created individual programs that each do a certain thing well, Apple needs to put all those features in one program. It is just not as user friendly for work and school as I was hoping.

Updated to newest version of the app and the program erased all my saved documents. Wont be doing that again... Ever.

Two years ago I used my iPad/Bluetooth keyboard combo exclusively for all my needs as a student. I didnt even have a Mac cause I didnt need it. Ive since then gotten a Mac & havent used Pages for iPad in probably a year and a half. I left my Mac at home and figured Id type out my paper on my iPad (still a student). Somehow, my iPad Air is too slow to handle typing. Theres some lag when using the software keyboard but with the Apple Bluetooth keyboard it is unbearably slow (takes 2 seconds from the time I type a word before it appears). I am extremely disappointed to the point I am going to download Microsoft Word.

I like this app but there are areas it can improve: 1) When I open a blank document, I have to click the paint brush in order to access bullets. I think this should be in the toolbar on the bottom. 2) This second point is a more important. When I am using bulleting, I am used to clicking "tab" on my keyboard in order to indent (change to indented bullet) when using a word processor. In Pages, it gives you an actual indent like for a paragraph and I cant imagine anyone would want that. So Apple, please update so that when you are bulleting that indent changes the bullet. 3) When indenting bullets (I use the tab button on the lower right of the screen rather than my keyboard tab, see above), the indents seem rather small. I would expect the indent to go further. I hope this review makes it back to Apple. For reference, I use a Belkin Ultimate keyboard on an Ipad Air 2. Thank you!

I use this everyday for different reasons on my Mac, iPad, iPhone and iPod. Always updates across my devices. Its pretty perfect, thats all there is to it really.

Im joining those reporting that pages is working very very slow. I got my iPad to write reports in the field. It worked wonderfully for years. Now individual keystrokes can take five minutes apiece . Yet once in a blue moon, the application works fine. Something is very wrong with this application and it needs to be fixed.

Ive told other people how Pages is a good functional word processor. However, I havent used it for a bit and this latest update is scary. On my 6S, it wont let me edit without chopping off words to the left and right. I cant edit a sentence without seeing all of it. Also, in full width mode, it used to tighten up on the margins. Im using iOS 9.3 with the latest Pages. In general, Ive noticed a reduction in S/W quality in that last few years that still needs to be addressed by Apple.

Update: Please bring back the old keyboard! I hate Pages now. Switching to Word. Way to go Apple! ----------- Apple, why did you ruin the keyboard with the current update? Why arent the bold/italics/underline buttons immediately available for easy access anymore? And whats the deal with the button that makes me choose between tab and indent? These previously simple options now require 2-3 "presses" when it used to be just 1. This is dumb. Why make things harder for your users? Give us at least the options of the old keyboard back.

Generally love this app. I use it frequently but lately it has been driving me insane when typing. The keyboard is delayed in typing the words. Ill have a whole sentence typed out but it will still be on the first few words. Extremely irritating. Not happening in any other apple app. Dont really want to have to find another app. Please fix. *update* still happening. A developer contacted me first time I posted this to help work with them and fix issue but wasnt 100% sure they were legitimate. Please contact me again. Would be glad to help.

I posted a precious review that I still think is important, but I found a way to access the projects held captive by the evil loading bar; I went into settings, selected the Pages app, turned off the "use iCloud" feature, and then went back into the app. The past projects disappeared, but then I went back into settings and turned "use iCloud" back on again, afterwards going back into the Pages app and seeing the past hostages released and finally loading. They all loaded, and even the other documents Ive had stayed, waiting to be clicked on and have the loading process begin. Hopefully this helps someone, but I still think the past problem is a problem, so here is my past review. I enjoy writing. I do. But what makes me mad is when I try to write and my notebook is being slow, my tools are being confusing, or my notebook is being totally inaccessible because of the eternal loading bar located at the bottom of the cover. The horrible bugs and slowness of this app is atrocious, and should be fixed if its creators want their app to be as optimal as can be.

What the heck happened. App is now as slow as a one eyed snail on downers. Tried on my iPad 4 and my brand new iPhone 6s+

I am currently having difficulty with a few things on this app. Firstly, Im having issues with document templates. I cannot fill them in and most of the template is in a foreign language. Also, because Im blind, I cannot see whether the word is hilighted in red when it is misspelled. Can you guys come up with a feature, similar to Microsoft on a laptop, where you can spellcheck an entire document and the misspelled words are brought to attention and there is a list of suggested words to fix it? Lastly, can you make document navigation more easier for VoiceOver users that use braille displays?

But I got Pages and Keynote when they were free, how do they cost $10? XD

I downloaded the update like everyone else, thinking that it would maybe be an improvement. However, when I booted up the app, I was greeted with a keyboard that had everything down to the TAB BUTTON stripped. I mean, really? Whose idea was it, honestly, to take the toolbar out of the keyboard? I have to navigate that drop down menu every time I want the font changed or resized, not to mention the fact that I literally cannot indent my paragraphs. This has been my go-to app for everything from creative writing to school papers, and Ive found myself using Microsoft Word now because of the lack of a keyboard toolbar. Its been a while since the update, so I hope that the combined effort of negative reviews in the App Store and common sense has led to some effort to fix this. Otherwise, I really do like this app and itd definitely be a big five star review from me if its fixed.

Too many missing features to complain about, too many missteps, and too awkward an interface. With the touch screen of my iPad Pro, this should have been a beautiful app. Should have been.

I loved pages. It was a great app for all of my book ideas, poems, song lyrics, school reports, and just plain old notes. Until today when I got the new update... I dont know why you guys would want to mess with success, but my favorite app was changed and now makes writing my books and school reports and everything else, undoable. I cannot write my name and date all the way to the right and start to write my report on the left even if I align left. I tried everything. The update also removed my ability to write down the numbers for size words I want. There are countless other problems that. Do not have the time to list. Please fix this!

One of if not my favorite and most used app! Love it! That being said, please update it or fix it asap!!! Where in the world is the tab button, font button, ect!!!! It used to be there. I know I can hit the paintbrush icon and do all that but wow, I almost want to go to my laptop again to start typing. Please add those icons again. Thanks for everything though. This app is all I use and think its fantastic! You all go an awesome job.

Hi! Im a teacher, and I have many documents in this app. And some of my previous docs., say that they updating. Its been like that for a week now. I was wondering when the next update was going to come out so I can open those docs.? Thank you.

I really love this app. Ive been using it for many years now on my Mac, iPhone, and now on my iPad. I find it to have a wonderful work layout. It works for everything I need, take notes and write papers. I love how everything can sync across all my devices and I can edit a paper on the go or at home. My only problem that I really have noticed is since the last update I cant indent properly with my bluetooth keyboard when taking notes. I really bugs me. And I dont want to have to switch to taking notes on another app, so please fix the indenting problem.
