The apps alright but Id love an interface like on Google docs for instance. The characters appear too small and the page just cant be in full screen mode.

The my app stopped in middle the process of actualization and nothing Need a solution. Apple???

Text vanishes. Backup is crazy. I thought some text was missing, checked in a previous backup and it was there. I almost missed it!! Im writing a book and now decided to search a new app.

Started out barely usable and with each revision Pages seem to get even more difficult to use. Each time they updated instead of more functionality features are removed such as linking text boxes (wtf?) locking items and fine control of styles.

I have to give this backasswards, hard to use, buggy but "useful and wonderful"(look at them fake reviews) 1 star?! It deserves, how about none!

Bring back the tab and other text options please

Greatful for this amazing app its helped me throughout my whole school year. Great job Apple! But it would be nice to be able to draw on photos!

In my opinion, Pages 4.3 was far superior to the new Pages 5.and up. I have been using PAGES 09, 4.3, for several years now for genealogical purposes and have written a document containing over 1000 pages....Im continuing to add more as the years go on. This document contains hundreds of photographs and perhaps 500+ hyperlinks to bookmarks within the document itself. I subsequently convert the document to .pdf format so that it can be easily read by my recipients. Amazingly, all hyperlinks are carried forward and the document performs beautifully. I think that PAGES 09 is a wonderful word processor and that it far exceeds the capabilities of the new PAGES. I cant for the life of me reason why they had to call the new word processor by the SAME NAME. I HAVE A GREAT FEAR THAT EVENTUALLY APPLE WILL MAKE THIS WORD PROCESSOR REDUNDANT THROUGH OS UPGRADES. How could they not think that many of us around the world would not suffer serious losses. - [ ]

I cannot get into one of the documents Ive been working on for a few days! When I tap on the document it says its loading for about 15 minutes, but then it freezes my iPad everytime! I need to get to work on it, its a project due in three days! Please please fix this issue!!!

There used to be a keyboard option where you could use bold, italics and underline, now that is got it is harder to write essays on the app because you have to put it on a computer so that you can edit it. Also when you turn on the work count it counts pages instead of words like the title implies. Go back to the way it was please.

I used to love Pages, I use it all the time. But then the recent iOS updates (iOS 9.3 and 9.3.1) cause my documents to not open at all and cause Pages to crash all the time on my IPad Pro, not to mention that I cant delete any documents thanks to this useless software update. Now I cant use it at all and this is the app that I use the most, thanks Apple for taking a once fantastic app and made it worthless and unusable, does Apple even care about this app, there has been no update to fix these stupid problems. I wish I could give this zero stars or negative stars, thats how bad it is, but I can only give one star. I hope that this gets fixed soon so I can start using it again or it gets fixed in the next software update.

Pages 09 was a wonderful word processor and page layout tool. It was powerful, accessible and beautiful. Pages 5 is a clunky word processor. Other reviewers have written extensively about what Pages 5 cant do that every other word processor (including former versions) can do. Although Apple still makes beautiful hardware and a wonderful operating system that runs on that hardware, it no longer makes beautiful software. The development history of this app shows a worrisome trend. It is nearly impossible now to process simple formatting features without drilling through multiple menus that demand full screen attention and break up flow. This was the best. Now its the worst--by far. The desktop app is similarly shedding advanced features and intuitive seamless interface elements in favour of--well really I dont know what the team designing this app is thinking. One example of a head scratching feature regression-- you used to be able to indent and outdent lists by swiping in the bullet list item--inexplicably this feature is gone. Now I need to click on the list item, click on the paintbrush button, click on the list button, and click on the indent. I have to do this every single time I want to indent or outdent. Its a joke. If I could give this app negative stars I would.

Typing speed, especially on an iPad 2, is dramatically faster in the last update

The update wont download to my iPad 3 and the app wont open while waiting for the download. I cant access my saved files.

What is the matter with you people? With every update something doesnt work right! Get with it, Mr. Cook! We expect more!

Oh cmoun you guys.. iPad is the best thing ever and a pen to write with is just amazing but that the own app that you guys designed does not work with the the Pen that is just too bad.. Word is way to slow for the iPad pen.. It would be great to have this option with lots of different colours for the creatives like me while studying with the pen.

My iPad version seems to be stuck in limbo I can delete it or reinstall it or even open it.

Pagess much better than other similar app/software...
