Cant Open Docs Because Need an Update--NOT!!!!

Pages wont let me open several of my documents in iPhone and iPad Pages--i get an error message that states: Update required go to Apps. I go to Apps, but i dont need an update. Ive also update to the latest ios software 9.3.1.

Ive restarted my device, Ive tried opening Pages in Apps. Nothing works. HELP!!!!
